Farewell, HouseFinders Peloponnese! It's time for a new start
From 2017 onwards, our family life was adapted to the needs of our company, HouseFinders Peloponnese. Holidays, meetings, visits and trips were all dictated by the company's agenda and schedule. Neither Elias nor I would ever want to be without this experience. My previous experience as a brand builder and project manager in Sweden was hugely beneficial. Elias's experience in accounting and financial responsibility, as well as his ability to speak Greek and understand Greek culture, was invaluable, and together we formed a formidable team!
It's time to start a new chapter!
I have been an entrepreneur all my life (only employed twice), but HouseFinders Peloponnese (my fourth company) holds a very special place in my heart and memory. I will always treasure the people I met, the relationships Elias and I built and the problems we solved. Without HouseFinders Peloponnese, I don't think Greece and Mani would feel like 'my country'. I am so grateful for that, and I remember every meeting with our customers. You have all given me so much trust and friendship! The customer references we have received will warm my heart for many years to come. I am entering the new year with mixed feelings. 2026 marks the start of a new chapter.
“Mum? Don't start a new business; live the life you want to live.”
That was the reaction from both my children. Yes, it will be difficult — incredibly difficult — but I promise I will take it easy. This is our time: mine, Elias', the family's and Estia's. It's time for sunsets, creativity, finding new courage, and discovering Greece, not just working. It's time to embrace the 'siga-siga' philosophy. It's time to discover what I like.
Mani: my new home
Okay, it's not actually that new, but the real exploration is about to begin. I'm thrilled that my inner journey will take place right here in the magical region of Mani. What will 2026 bring? What new interests and people will I encounter? In 2026, Elias, Estia and I will be moving into our next house. But I know that 2026 will bring many other new discoveries.
